Glenis offers one day courses for jewellers with basic jewellery making skills at Mettle Studios, in Angmering West Sussex.

Anti - clastic Raising is a method of forming metal in which the principal curves bend in opposite directions.  This one day workshop introduces the tools and techniques and enables you to create a simple anti-clastic bangle. 

Using copper, explore this fascinating technique of forming metal. Participants should be able to complete a simple anti-clastic bangle in copper.

If you wish to work in silver, advice will be provided on the gauge and size to bring.

Keum Bo is an ancient Korean technique in which a thin layer of gold is fused to the surface of silver. This one day workshop introduces the basic methods and allows for experimentation, enabling you to create samples for future reference or to complete some pieces prepared in advance.

Courses cost £85 for one person, or £70 each for two participants.

The courses are for jewellers with some basic experience. Participants will need to provide some materials and bring small hand tools.  Some materials will be available to purchase on the day - full details will be provided on booking.
